Answer is "yes, we are", because i am following him and hoping the same too.

yes we are desperate BUT we have to give him time...he is very young and in a league where they normally dont give much time to youngsters unless they are something special like pogba or veratti. i think he has a good chance to break into livorno's first team. as long as he plays in a european system, he can be helpful for TM....it could take another 3-4 years for him to shine, which is fine, he will be 23/24 by next WC

Fully agree. With most of our players going to Arab leagues we badly need legionnaires in Europe right now. Doesn't matter if it's 2nd division of Italy, still better than Kuwait or Qatar.

At least he made the bench. During his Genoa time he was not even in the squad so this is certainly an improvement.

Edit: looks like it was a Coppa Italia game, they lost 2-4 to Bassano V who play in third division of Italy

They lose, because they don't make use of their Iranian players. That was the point

Sounds like a very familiar sentence for our legionaires

Good to know he's eligible and naturally I'd like him to succeed in Italy, but given the fact that he couldn't make the grade at West Ham... I don't hold out much hope that he'll ever be good enough for TM. I'd love it if I were proven wrong and he did choose to play for Iran

Let's wait before jumping to conclusions. Rafati never even gave an interview, how do you know if he wants to play for Iran or not?
