Great post and I agree with you wholeheartedly.Originally posted by O-ZoNe View PostI have a different opinion. A coach once told me if you are sad or cry after a match it's because you didn't give it your all. I never see players from other countries reacting to losses like Iranian players. It's becoming a broken record. Just play your heart out...I suspect part of it is that we hype our TM up, and put expectations on them that yes an Italian, German or ARgentinian team should meet, but realistically our TM can't. Maybe I am still emotional as my sentiments have varied over the past 24 hours, but to be fair, we played terribly yesterday and the result was a fair one.
If anyone should be crying it's the bosnians who were robbed of a point against Nigeria, and should have qualified with this win.
Wtf is this shit? Why are our players weeping like 8 year old school girls? Embarrassing. Man up.
Did you see Ivory Coast's reaction after they got eliminated on a dubious penalty call in the 93rd minute? None of them shed a tear. They were upset, sure. But they didn't sit on the pitch crying and rolling around like a toddler throwing a hissy fit.
Iranians emotions as a whole is the greatest gift and the greatest curse we have. Our emotions and gheirat is what allowed us to play Argentina so tough for 92 minutes but it was also the reason why we were defeated before the match vs. Bosnia even began.

Our players cry because:
* We are emotional people to start with.
* For most players this was their last chance at a big tournament.
* Iran is not a Germany/Argentina or even Ivory Coast to qualify for every WC. The next time we qualify might be in 8 or even 12 years and even then it will be a damn hard task as usual.
So I do kind of understand the players' reaction. Or perhaps they cry because deep down they feel that we might have had a chance to get a possible win/qualification had we not played so defensively even when we were behind. No one knows...but what I do know is that these are no crocodile tears! If the average Iranian had 10% of Ando's gheyrat, we wouldn't have been where we are now!

We have been on here for a while and we have seen the same posts over and over. There is always something wrong, there is always something to complain about. They complain just for the sake of complaining. They complain about one thing AND the opposite of that thing too. :s :s :s
