I am not in anyways fond of Shoja as he is as disgusting as one can be, but I want to be fair. I havent made this site survive for thios many years through not being fair but being it actually because I don't tolerate bs and have the means to maintain this site because I am fair. And I put my money and effort on things that I love.

These people who I ban are not here for healthy discussions like we just did here. They are here to call me names and try to insult me to convince people that I am a bad person but is there any of you who would have spent as much time or efforts for all this?? come forward and let's compare your love for TM, with mine but these days we dont have normal circumstances. many of our people died and yet people here are forgetting that. I love Iran and I love our football but in no ways I get fooled by their propaganda while many here do. Take this as a side note.

Never, ever offside. Shame on FIFA and VAR. If they're going to analyze every single detail of that sequence, then they should also award a penalty for the goalkeeper's challenge on Saeid Ezatolahi after the first header. The blow to his head clearly prevented him from continuing to challenge for the ball.

Got you brother. But let me say this (I am reference my comment just to football!) I've been saying this for years: Shoja Khalilzadeh has been Iran's best centre-back for a long time. It's such a shame that we never fully utilized him at the peak of his career.

it was offside man, his foot was slightly ahead of the line setup before the last Egyptian player, that is offside by definition

This is the problem.... Analysing something like this at the most crucial moment in the entire campaign and producing the most technical of possible offsides puts into question the whole of VAR. Why didn't VAR give us a retake of the penalty as Egyptian players clearly entered the box? It's so precise it's like an inconsistency weapon

I am with you on this.

My personal take is that teammelli is teammelli, I will let no politician politicize the team in my eyes and take my love away from it, for me teammelli is the people's team and is not for political debates. As for each player's political/non-political positions, I see it as their freedom. As long as they are not corrupt due to money offered etc.

If the players were just playing and were quiet yes not that everytime they open their mouths are basijis in praise of the IR . If they did not do that I would be the same.

I guess the rule is that a player behind the goalie doesnt count in the offside rule

Simply put, that player is the last defender because the goalkeeper is further up the pitch. So he effectively takes on the goalkeeper’s role in that situation. A Swedish referee explained this thoroughly to us viewers in Sweden.

He also explained the “pass” from the goalkeeper. Since it’s a save and the ball rebounds, it is not considered a deliberate pass from the opposing player.

You just have to accept that it was offside.

Look at the red line bro. He is not offside there. why should I just accept it when I can see he wasnt?? look at the red line carefully.
