Add Algeria beating Austria and Uzbekistan tying Congo to that list - so 1 of these 5 results has to happen for Iran to advanceOriginally posted by Karimi_1 View PostIran advances if ONE of these happens:- Austria beats Algeria. They will probably settle for a draw both of them
- DR Congo does not beat Uzbekistan. Afraid Congo will win pretty easily
- Ghana beats Croatia. Will CQ finally get us to the next round?
I think we are pretty fucked but lets see....

I never said that they will play hard to beat them BUT relying on a draw and getting the upset with a late Goal that will eliminate you is exremely risky and i have doubts that they will go for a draw.Originally posted by persiangodfather View Post
Why would Austria play hard to beat Algeria

I took a snapshot of Shoja's alleged offside goal but for some reason It doesn't let me upload it on this site.
How the FUCK is that Offside when there was an Egyptian covering the Offside by a mile.
This is absolute Horseshit. FIFA makes its own rules when it comes to disallowing our goals.

This looks like the only remaining realistic path for Iran to be eliminated.
Iran need this exact combination of results to go against them:- Algeria vs Austria: Draw
- DR Congo vs Uzbekistan: DR Congo win
- Croatia vs Ghana: Croatia or Draw
The combined bookmaker odds are 4.36, which implies around 23% before margin.
So Iran are still more likely to qualify than not, but this is a surprisingly realistic elimination scenario.

The fact that Moghanlu has been our super sub is mind boggling to me when i can easily name a whole starting XI that didn't even make the roster and are ahead of him technically, speed, game IQ, finishing, work rate wise. Only attributes he ranks in the top at is height and strength!Originally posted by persiangodfather View PostBrain dead coach takes ghoddos now watch the huge whole in the midfield

Very Badly! We were desperately missing Azmoun in all 3 games. Taremi really hasn't done shit besides drawing fouls..Having Azmoun is so cruical, not just because he's the best finisher we have, but because he makes Taremi more useful too. Not sure Taremi was really ever good at being a lone striker, maybe only at Porto years ago, but in TM, he's always played next to or behind Azmoun.Originally posted by AmirSalar View PostHow badly did we miss Azmoun, gholizadeh, and sayyadmanesh this game? It’s sad but hats off to Ramin he’s been our best offensive threat the whole World Cup
For a good consistent PK taker that he's been throughout his career, that was a terrible PK tonight! Telegraphed it the whole way to the GK by opening up his hips way too early - as soon as he had a nervous twitch and played with his face right before taking the PK, I was like oh nooo, that's not a good sign.

At first I thought so too but read the post below. Although rare, I believe the call was correct.Originally posted by Damavand View PostIran won this game. FIFA with its corruption has robbed Iran from a CLEAR victory.

Yes, but the goalkeeper was further up from the goal than Khalilzadeh. You need to have two players ahead of you to be onside, Most people don't know the goalkeeper is usually counted as well in most other instances where there is an offside.

Is there a pic of the exact second you are talking about. This is the first time I have ever heard that you need 2 people to keep a player onside. Its always been one.Originally posted by FeLFeL View Post
