Why was it a shame and why should the rule be changed? It was a clear second yellow card. I wouldn´t say that the game was decided by a red card. Spain dominated the 120 minutes.Originally posted by OFFSIDE_1 View PostHappy to see Spain win. I predicted it, but it’s a shame that the game was decided by a red card.
FIFA needs a rule change

No wonder why Argentina didnt play football in the final. They were told to lose after they displayed the flag of Falklands saying that the Island belongs to Argentina and England complained and if they won, they would not be given the cup and would be banned from participating in the World Cup for 10 years so hence it happened that the players played aggressively and in the ceremony they showed their back to the Spanish team.
Here the president of Argentina is explaining what happened. So FIFA ordered them to lose or be banned for 10 years hence they did not even attack to win. Such a BS so are you going to support FIFA anymore?

I do not believe it. If they wanted to lose Martinez would not have saved 11 goals. 2 goals would not have been taken away by VAR.Originally posted by webmaster View PostNo wonder why Argentina didnt play football in the final. The link says President of Argentina FA, not the president of Argentina (who is a complete idiot...his sister runs the country).Originally posted by webmaster View PostNo wonder why Argentina didnt play football in the final. Today the president of Argentina FA came out and denied these theories. He said Spain was better than us and won fairly.
Argentina got to the finals by talent and lots of hardwork along with luck and some favorable referee calls too.
Nobody told England to melt away into nothing those last 30 minutes after scoring a goal. Argentina suddenly found another gear or two and beat England.
Facing Spain, they knew they had zero chance esp with Messi doing a walkathon Their gameplan was to reach penalties by playing anything but football. Football won.
Let's remember this new 48 game means an extra game for the finalists. Argentina had trouble in most games and didn't rest players.
Not that they had a chance but Scaloni should have started with Lauturo Martinez and benches Messi till min 75. At least Martinez would have the ability to come back and steal a ball or two....maybe. Messi had nothing left.
