I've been on this forum since I've been 13 years old now. I come back now and now again to revisit the memories of a optimistic time when it came to Iran not even in a football aspect, but just in general. We are cursed as a people. I don't know what it is, but every single Iranian person I know might be cursed to some degree out of straight misfortune. Keep your heads held up high guys. There is a reason we are being tested as a people, and one day, we will finally smile and feel the weight be lifted from our shoulders.

We fight like no other people have in this world historically. Our backs have been bruised since the inception of history, and fully pinned against in the modern world with the inception of BP in 1909. I am so proud to be part of a group of people that continues to shine using the beauty of our kindness and intelligence even though it has been overcast for what seems like an eternity. We go through bs and are consistently so misunderstood, but for some reason I really think the cloud is about to pass in one way or another. I am proud of every single player who played there regardless of their allegiance. Those poor dahatis don't know better and are brainwashed from a young age, but they are still our people. And I will continue to support my people and look forward to another opportunity to show the world what we can do whether it comes to football or anything else, because anything can change at once. Do not lose faith in your culture or TM, remember, we have always fought like nobody else and that is what makes us so amazing.

Asian Cup is in only 6 months from now. Ghalenoei will probably take the same team there, Jahanbakhsh is a free agent now and will only find a team sometime in November (like the past 2 years with Heerenveen and Dender) but still make the squad at 33. Hajsafi and Rezaeian will be turning 37 in 2027, Khalizadeh 38, several other like Beirandvand or Taremi 35...

We are not cursed we are shit because of decades of missmanagement and regime control in our football.

We have been blessed with the easiest possible draws the last two WCs , England, Wales and Usa in 2022 and Belgium, Egypt and New Zealand in 2026.

In 2022 we only needed a tie against Usa and this year the only thing that was needed was to beat NEW ZEALAND , not France, NEW ZEALAND, but still failed.

Iraq have not been to a WC since 1986 and the first group they get is France, Norway and Senegal, thats a curse.
