It's a 4 2 3 1 formation.

Even if you forget all the regime backing many of these players have done as they have appeared on TV and street interviews voicing their support for the regime, This team is so fking weak that it's not even worth supporting - we have never had this terrible of a line up in a world cup. EVER. It's a joke. Besides Mohebi and Gholi, none of these players are world cup level players, (ghoddos is past his prime, Taremi would also come off the bench at this age) - and so with Gholi injured, the only world cup worthy starting line up player in this entire team is Mohebi. The rest are no higher than UAE league level.

I actually look forward to seeing them get thrashed. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost all 3 matches. They might squeeze out a point against NZ and will most likely lose to Belgium and Egypt.

To be fair if you look at our 2014 squad, It was mostly old names running on their reputations.

If it wasnt for CQs tactics, it was a bang average team with zero legs with zero depth.

Besides one corner vs Nigeria we were never going to have any counters, shots against them.

Against Argentina they played their hearts out with the tactics.

We were very outmatched by Bosnia.

We did not have even one attacker like Mohebi who would constitute that kind of threat in 2014.

Not to say our team now is any better but the opposition is weaker.
