Its because his family couldn't find his grandfathers birth certificate, so they needed something concrete that links with Iran besides just words. His father is Iranian but is diaspora, never got his documents.

His dad doesn’t have an Iranian passport yet in order to get an Iranian passport his dad must prove he’s Iranian and have a passport - his dad only has German documents so he sent a dna test to Iran to prove his Iranian ancestry as Eckert’s grandad died along time ago and they can’t find his grandad’s documents

- His dad’s dna test came negative they wanted to match his with the famous actress who is eckert’s aunt in Iran and she’s very famous
- The dna test failed because it got contaminated so in order for his dad to get a passport he must travel to Iran to get his dna test done to avoid contaminants then eckert will finally be able to get his

Eckert himself payed for the dna test to be taken and sent to Iran so looks like he wants this

the photo was taken on Eckerts phone sent to one of team melli’s staff organisers or something then leaked by varzesh the next day. Seemingly very unprofessional

Stuckler would be amazing, he is consistently leading league scorer of every team he's been lent to. I am pretty sure he is overdue for a big Serie B or Serie A move. Great player IMO.

part of me thinks it will happen as logically speaking every dad will want their son at a World Cup and for a career stand point Eckert has a lot to gain

Stuckler would be amazing, he is consistently leading league scorer of every team he's been lent to. I am pretty sure he is overdue for a big Serie B or Serie A move. Great player IMO.

federation is so damn lazy its unreal - we literally have bangladesh and pakistan even north korea better at keeping track of their legionnaires than we do

i think we are quite honestly the worst managed team in asia and i say that without a question there are teams with 1/10th of our budget doing far better than us - the fact that this situation with eckert has dragged out so long - if we still had CQ at the helm he would have been on the first plane to germany to convince his dad to take a proper dna test. (he traveled to japan to visit aria jasur's dad and he got on navad!)

We are just so slow compared to literally everyone else in the entire continent and by the time Eckert gets his passport if he does eventually he will most likely be given 10 minutes in some friendly to impress subbing in for alipour

Nahany and Stuckler we just need to pitch them " play for us and you can play at the world cup" thats what the korean fa did with jens castrop and they stole one of germany's best prospects because they were quick at selling the dream to him and showing that "if you come to asia you get the world cup" .

Heck even Bangladesh convinced Hamza Choudary to role in the mud and play against Brunei i dont see why we can't pitch the same plan to Nahany and Stuckler

if we had a european coach at the helm i think they would do a better job convincing the euro players and i think more players from more proffesional leagues can give this team a bit of proffesionalisim that we are dearly lacking at this moment in time .

I genuinely feel we are weaker than the 2014 team and we have wasted so much damn time we had 10 qualifier matches to try new talents out and extra asian cup matches - so many games we had were we could try to bed new players in and we have pretty much the same team as 2018 what a waste!

and yeah davari and beitashour flopped and so did that filpino guy from sweden- but AT LEAST we were trying something different and were experimenting! instead of using our CAFA games to stad pad taremi and keep the old gaurd playing

hes been in better form that Sayadmanesh who iranians seem to cream themselves over every time he has a half decent match without scoring

i feel it wouldve been better to field those players and lose to india than it would have been just scraping by and keeping our coefficent up

at least it wouldve rocked the old guard who've gotten too comfortable with no competition

team melli is also really cliquey now - i think having foreign players with no political involvement and just focus on the football/professionalism would be really beneficial to the team and also break down the ego of the cliques involved who think they undroppable

now Bangladesh have more talents in the English leagues than us

Indonesia of course have an italian goalkeeper and a team full of erdvise talents that will most likely be a major threat in the future - heck they called up the goalkeepr of the worst mls side and he won them a point v saudi arabia


all while we seem to be sitting around relying on the same over paid ipl players to try and score a goal v 10 man uzbekistan and cape verde. We are literally the most boring team in Asia. You'd honestly have more thrill watching bangladesh than us right now.
