This is not even funny anymore, just like Pluto2000 said, stop inviting them.

To be honest i think the best CB duo we have right now for the WC is Kaanani and Hezbavi.

Off the top of my head, if I had to look at the best domestic CBs in Iran right now, it would be

1. Aghasi
2. Zare
3.Kanaani
4. Nemati
5. Hazbavi (he hasn't played since that much due to injury)

I'm surprised Koushki didn't get called up. I understand we have a lot of power up front and that it kind of wouldn't make sense to invite him. But he seems to be a versatile player that can help in different positions (seeing how he does with Esteghlal). He's a very talented and smart offensive minded player. He's not old either. Wouldn't have been bad to call him up to the last 2 games.

Sadly we dont have any talents or these dont get any chance, our WC starting 11 will be the same of 2018 2022 ........ , we already can today say who the starting 11 in World Cup are, all players over 30 ......... same story as the past WC, maybe with the first chance ever to make it due to adding weak teams.......

we have the talent but they are not given a chance, due to party bazi by the older players.

It doesnt matter as long as they are healthy at the World Cup.

The whole US team was injured for a year and a half prior to 2022. They all got healthy 1 month before hand and gave the best account of themselves for the whole cycle.

Plan is to have a full squad healthy. Ideally with some depth

We don't have depth and it all comes down to our stupid and strategy-less coach who is in a win-it-now strategy just to keep his job. Will never take a risk with the younger players for fear of losing ...... We will go into the WC with half of our roster over the age of 30

Persian players suck at 3 days rest matches if trust the bench tm can go further in every tournament .

I agree.

Our only real ways to salvage a path to the knockouts is one of the following:

1) Easier than average group by luck(50% chance)
2) Including some younger players who are decent enough to play at least 30 min every game in GNs eyes(very unlikely)
3) Defensive setup like 2014 with better attacking options(this time we have our own version of Khalatbari)

Only revenge is beating them and hoping Kyrgyzstan can get two wins vs Qatar and NK and that Qatar ties/loses to Uzbek last game. Then Qatar eliminated completely.

I can assure you that Iran will lose the match or tie for them to have a chance to qualify for playoffs and I'm willing to bet on it. Because Qatar is IR's ally in the region. Football is more political than what you think.
