Senegal look amazing this tournament. Watched their last group match today and they were clearly contenders. I believe they can beat Italy. Since we beat Italy in a friendly before the WC, Italy may be a better opponent for us in the SF if they can beat Senegal.

We have played Belarus a lot, it was mostly narrow, but we usually won. In some recent performances they also were roughly on paar with Japan/Oman/UAE.

We won a friendly against Italy right before the WC. But so did Senegal. And I agree with diz, Senegal has shown great spirit in a very narrow group.

Spain yesterday got a lot of yellow cards yesterday, some players might be blocked for the QF, the chances to proceed really are low imo. => Brazil

Japan showed a good finish of the group stage, but I do not see them win against Portugal => Portugal

For our quarter I simply believe and hope we make it => Iran

For the other quarter, I hope for some African contender => Senegal
