Yes. We need to win and Oman has to lose.
There are some other permutations but it is possible.

Japan lost 2-3 to Australia too but it is one thing to lose to Australia than to Oman.

Excellent U17 players like Esmaei Gholizadeh or Mahan Sadeghi are stuck on bench/out of squad of IPL. There is no hope about the current team, they would be lucky to find an IPL team. Fortunately U17 asian cup and WC will occur next year so we will pass this generation easily

Defender Mehrojidin Rozykov (tajik) was sent off in their 3-0 Group D loss to DPR Korea, and this is a huge blow to Ragini and his team.

Why do so many players not have clubs? What happened to the pool of Sepahan/Foolad/Kia/Persepolis/Esteghlal academy kids? They keep active U17 teams...

Are they focusing on bettering their football or do they think they already are good??? to me it is always the second reason. You should be honest instead of making it look good cause it doesn't.

As these young people are supposed to take over the future of Iran? how??? well, this is very alarming to me indeed. If we don't solve the problem soon, we will sink even lower.
We have big culture issues in a lot a field, that would even deserve a thread for its own.
Our U17 play the same messy approximative disorganized style of play since 2 decades but sometimes we have some better players that save us. After all U17 is just a showcase of players to get noticed and brought by Euro teams.

This generation is just too bad, a lot of players without clubs in the squad which tells a lot
