From what I've been seeing, the board picked him because he was Inter youth director for 10 years and won them the Primavera a bunch of times. His style of play is also pretty similar to Inzaghi, with a back 3 focused on defending and counterattacking. Seems like maybe Inter wants to start incorporating their academy players like the Esposito brothers? Especially the one that's been tearing things up on loan to Milan?
