Wow...This pretty much means that Taremi's staying next season! Unless they get a lucrative offer for him which is unlikely. He turns 33 in July and his contract runs through end of June, 2027. For what they're paying him, they won't be able to sign a replacement who's much of an upgrade.

He makes for a great experienced role player behind Lautaro and Thuram. His performance against Barca probably eliminated any doubts that Inter management may have had about keeping him.

That's gotta be a first. Am I missing something or have Inter given up on Serie A/Napoli slipping up by resting most of their starters? They have a whole week until their next game against Lazio

Ya. Seems like it. Inter is fielding their B team today.

There are only 3 games left in Serie A and Inter is only 3 points behind Napoli. But Napoli has an 'easier' schedule. Anything is possible and you never know if Napoli slips up so these games are still really important to Inter.

That much was given seeing as before nearly every transfer season for two years now
inter told both of them that they are not keen on Keeping them & literally suggested to them to look into transfer to other clubs..!
The only reason they kept them this long is because they were under contract and they didn’t wanna pay their fines of breaking contracts with them..!
Same thing is sorta true with Mehdi this summer But only So if they are not convinced he can get over his recent injury completely and show the fitness and form he had earlier in the season or in preseason again ..!
