Agree that MT was given many chances and failed to deliver and Arna has been a better finisher/goal scorer - but I don't think he's better than Mehdi overall. Inzaghi will still utilize Mehdi when he wants to play tighter on defense (I think he'll get some mins against Barca) but yeah it's pretty obvious that he was let down too many times by MT's lack of finishing and will now rather use Correa and/or Arna as he did yesterday when the team needs to score so in that sense MT has been demoted. A few of us here called it a couple of months ago the way he was playing and not capitalizing on his chances.

It is now the 85th game we hope he does something good but let's us down. imo, he doesn't deserve to play a single minute until the end of the season. Let's hope Lautaro and Thuram will do the job to bring him a cup.

His playing time was the only positive of his season but contrary to Azmoun at Roma we couldn't even use it as an excuse for his poor season. With his records in Porto and even WC, I didn't expect such a bad season. Even scoring a non pk goal or a damn tap in until the end of season against a bottom italian league seems out of reach.

His first season was trouble. But to be fair, he might have a rebound season next year and do better. Sometimes when you hit rock bottom, there is no more going down but up from that point. So he could have a good season. The question is whether Inter wants him?

From what I hear from Inter fans, the club owners are cheap when it comes to off-season budgets, so there is a possibility they will keep the same team.

Yes, the goal is to win some silverware, but finishing Top 2-3 in every tournament is not a bad result.
