According to the most recent rankings, Morocco is ranked 8th in the world and Iran 6th. We've only faced them once in Futsal and that was back in 2016 and we beat them 5-3.

If I remember correctly in 2004 Asian Cup, football not futsal, Iran and Japan deliberately played to a draw to advance as top two teams from the group that pissed off Oman. I would have no problem with FIFA kicking out both teams due to match fixing. Neither team wants to end up in Brazil’s side of the tournament.

Going to rewatch the highlights of that game but I remember watching it and both teams had good chances in that one.

Shamsaee is the real winner here. He tried to throw the game in the 1st half but the French were thinking the same, so he had no choice but to attack in 2nd half, because lets face it, the only way we would lose this game was through an own goal (which FIFA surely would have banned us for).
The way the game was going, nobody can blame him.

You are absolutely right Persian Eagle. I just saw the highlights. It did say Futsal Friendly. So I don't know... I guess the head to head somehow did not account for that. But you are absolutely correct. Here is the link:

If I remember correctly, when Morocco beat us 5-4 a few months ago, they were using there B or C team. I think they fielded an entire team of U23

Obviously Morocco is the Gorbe Sia and we use to struggle against them. But even if we beat them (I honestly think we will do), it will stop there because then we will face the giant Brazil that currently are in the prime and demolished all teams so far and Iran's defence showed so far that they are really weak.

There was no way for us to finish 2nd after seeing the 1st half today.
We can beat Brazil, but i don’t see us beating a fresh Spain (they have an easy draw) after two tough matches against Morocco & Brazil.
