Go back and watch the first half. We were intentionally missing free kicks... our goalie intentionally was grabbing the ball with his hands on back passes to create free kick opportunity for France. But since both were doing the same thing neither team wanted to score. It only changed in the second half when our player decided to PASS the ball not shoot at the french goalie which he pretty much dodged the ball and it went in. After that, there was no other way for Iran to throw the game and they decided to win the match.
