Both Jalali and Hardani deserve to be our fullbacks right now. Goudarzi has also been a nice surprise this season, he's been very powerful on defense and attack.

I'm 90% sure he will start Ramin and Milad vs Uzbekistan though (and our eyes will continue to bleed as usual with how loose our defense is)

Danial imo is best rb in iran right now.he is great defensively and he adds like a ghost on offense and comes back like a ghost on defense but he is in general dog house so it be surprise if called up...I take him over Ramin any day at rb.....hardani and ramin will be rb call ups until moharrami is game ready. He will take 2 rb.

Yeah it's great to think about young players
but reality is something else. Current players are simply better.

We are qualified to the next round. There will be minimal consequence to try some players in what are essentially one friendly and a game to decide group.

Any damage that might happen to us when it comes our Pot placement etc is far less than the damage playing Kanaani, Rezaian, Hajsafi at WC in 2 years against young wingers/strikers

Question for you, and think about this very deeply. Are current players really better? Is Hazbavi who consistently gets the highest ratings in Al-Sadd playing alongside Qatari NT team players like Afif and Haydos (who won Qatari league recently) really worse than Kanaani? Or is Fallah really that much worse than Shoja who isn't even best CB in Tractor (Aghasi has better stats)? Or is Jalali really that much worse than Milad who wasn't even part of TM anymore before CQ came back (Skocic would rather play HS, Amiri, and Noorafkan there over Milad since he was so bad)? Or is the real question that experience is vastly overrated when it comes to TM and we refuse to accept that?

Regarding defenders: the problem isn't now but in 3-4 years. Remember back in 2018 we played all these youngsters against major European countries in the World CUP: Majid Hosseini was 21 years old, Kanaani was 24 years old, PAG was 26, etc...

What was the result? We trusted them and they pulled through and delivered one of greatest performances for TM ever.

What's going to happen when these old timers retire at the next Asian cup? We're gonna have Hazbavi who is gonna be 24 and Fallah who is 26/27 and their international experience will amount to basically playing pity minutes against Turkmenistan. We're setting these players up for failure basically because they won't have the necessary experience to do anything in 2026/2027 or 2030/2031.

I'm gonna say it: experience is VASTLY overrated, especially when it comes to TM. Our "experienced" players like Kanaani still throw tantrums and make the same mistakes as they did when they were 21. The truth of the matter is that we need to make use of our young and talented players while they are 20-28 and take advantage of their athleticism and technique. This whole thing regarding experience has never gotten TM anywhere, and while other countries have figured it out we are still debating whether Hazbavi, who is one of the highest rated CB in the Qatari league playing for the league winning team is good enough to start.


Anyways rant over lol: I think that some of the players on your list their career is pretty much over. For example Gholizadeh just had knee surgery again so he will be out till next year again probably. Yes a player like Noorafkan has a left foot which is highly valuable, but he simply doesn't have the talent to keep up with the rest of the team. You don't need us to say it, just ask Taremi who always yells at him on pitch to stop being bad. Beiranvand is fine for now but he's degrading every tournament, and we don't have a suitable replacement for him. Shakouri hasn't given us a reason to doubt his talent, why not start giving him a few caps here and there so he can take over in 2027?
