pedro Miguel is for sure one of their best players and is their best defender (plays as a full back and wing back mostly). The other guy doesn’t play much he’s a young and new to Qatar’s NT.
Team Meli Iran
Perspolis FC
Malavan Bandar Anzali

Qatar was the original when it comes to naturalising foreign players, they were doing it years before anyone else for every sport - athletics, weightlifting, wrestling, football, volleyball - everythingOriginally posted by P.Nima View PostPedro, Lucas Mendes... Very traditional Qatari names

Question
Do you guys think Jordan doesn't have it to beat Korea?
I think they do. As Korea was saved by an individual play and not as a team. Son took the penalty and scored the freekick. If Jordan controls Son they will have a chance to beat them. They can play a counterattack football and have the right tools to do so.
What do you think?

I think Korea have the potential to beat themselves (with a poor performance or silly mistakes or Klinsman's ego). Jordan can capitalize on it.Originally posted by webmaster View PostQuestion

I may be in the minority, but I want Korea to win for the following reasons:- I want to beat the best teams
- Playing vs Korea in the final will bring much more international attention (due to Son), but nobody will care about Iran vs Jordan
- We can beat them, they've had a subpar tournament
- I want revenge on Klinsmann

I like your points. Also, if we get to the final and win by beating both Japan and Korea, then there is no question that we will be the undisputed king of Asia for another 4 years to come. Casual tools of football (ie Thogden) will have no choice but to acknowledge Iran for years to come. Finally, I wonder if it will bring us more friendlies outside of west Asia in prep for WCQ and WC (which I think is one of the most important things for our future preparations.Originally posted by KasraKhan View PostI may be in the minority, but I want Korea to win for the following reasons:- I want to beat the best teams

100 percent. Jordan is a very quick team. Their star Al Tamari punches well above his weight, one of the best players in Asia and plays in France. He's a star.Originally posted by webmaster View PostQuestion

It's possible. Jordan is always capable of producing an upset against the big teams. They have beaten Australia a few times before and they tied SK in the group stage 2-2. One of their important players who is an attacker is suspended for this game but just like Taremi was suspended for us, you never know what the team might produce.Originally posted by webmaster View PostQuestion
