The AFC has f**ked us on the scheduling. Knowing we were strong favourites to top our group, we have an 8 day rest between the final group game and knockouts, longer than anyone else... this means we have a more intense period of knockout matches with the most minimal recovery between rounds should we advance to the semis to play... you guessed it, Qatar, who have the easiest draw to the final. Personally I think we'll lose to Japan in the QFs. If we beat them, who's to say we can't win it, horrendous performance against HK aside.

Just the fact s.k is no longer in our bracket is signOriginally posted by perspolis#1 View Post
We need extra prayers for Bahrain. On Wednesday I am also Bahraini, I pray to the grassrolling gods, Juan and Pablo, so that chaman is in right direction for Bahrain to have shock upset.
General can beat Bahrain, beating Khalij Fars Arabs is GN specialty.
God is listening.

And they put tm who has drawn each match between 25k to 37k in a 10k capacity stadium😅😅😅Originally posted by Malkay View PostThe AFC has f**ked us on the scheduling. Its horrible but silver lining is Japan will also only have that amount of rest.Originally posted by Malkay View PostThe AFC has f**ked us on the scheduling. Going to think of the positives in that Qatar is playing Palestine then likely Uzbekistan which are not physically easy games

on Wednesday Jan 31st at 6:30am EST I feel Bahraini.Originally posted by Pluto2000 View Post
Us collectively inspiring our inner Infantino on Bahrain vs Japan game day:
today I feel...Bahraini. Today I feel Gulf Arab.
I feel like scoring an early goal
I feel like wasting 80 minutes on the grass
I feel like disallowing a Japan goal by VAR
I feel complete.

so is it confirmed that he tore a ligament ..?Originally posted by TM4LIFE View PostHonestly i feel loss of Moharrami is going to be a difference maker in the Japan matchup. We desperately need someone who can track back properly and advance the ball more creatively. With Rezaian we already got a taste of what a swift counter by Japan can look like with UAE’s goal.
looked to me like he only hyperextended his knee ?/
had he tore ligament (mcl/acl) you'd hear a snap sound followed by 10seconds of excruciating pain ... not sure that what i saw in him..?
coulda well tore some meniscus though..?
