5 notifications… vaght nadaram be hamatun alan reply konam….valyyyy… keep making small opponents like Palestine(!!) into continental giants and comparing small players like Ghaedi to Pedro and Leroy Sane. The inevitable match against SK/Japan is coming. And don’t start about CQ 0-3 in 2019… if Sardar converted his chance in first half, we would have won. (I miss you so much Ali Daei!). GN gonna deliver the biggest tactical failure in TM history. Save this post!

nobody compared Palestine to SK, everybody here has been criticizing half our players on the pitchOriginally posted by mehdi13 View Post5 notifications… vaght nadaram be hamatun alan reply konam….valyyyy… keep making small opponents like Palestine(!!) into continental giants and comparing small players like Ghaedi to Pedro and Leroy Sane. Playing in that beautiful stadium with the wonderful hd and professional camerawork/commentary was such a nice experience. This in addition to the lovely goals we scored made the first half so sweet. This Asian cup is gonna be awesome. Very similar vibe to World Cup since it’s same high tech stadiums and stuff

I think CQ should change his middle name to IF. If sardar did that, if Mehdi scored that chance, if ref wasn’t stupid in that game against Iraq, if players weren’t stupid in that game vs Japan, …. Sorry but I call BS, truth is he didn’t win anything with the team, and was responsible for some of our most dismal and embarrassing performances - as well as some of the best ones.Originally posted by mehdi13 View Post5 notifications… vaght nadaram be hamatun alan reply konam….valyyyy… keep making small opponents like Palestine(!!) into continental giants and comparing small players like Ghaedi to Pedro and Leroy Sane. After a long time, saman does a Persian interview after the match. Fun snippet. To be fully honest though, I expected him to have improved his Persian a bit more. His vocabulary and pronunciation is pretty much the same as that interview he did 5 years ago which can be found on YouTube. Yes I know he only comes for the camps and is based abroad but idk

Speaking from my experience, I speak great farsi in front of my parents but the minute I speak with my family or strangers I forgot words that I knew, and stress myself out trying to remember them. He probably felt a lot of pressure with the whole of Iran watching.Originally posted by arj42 View PostAfter a long time, saman does a Persian interview after the match. Fun snippet. The one thing I love about this is everyone refers to looking at the errors in the post match analysis. There's clearly a focus on this and the recognition of mistakes and a willingness to improve and learn.Originally posted by diz View Postyou can't do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about its width and depth

Definitely there was a component of nerves, especially when there’s a microphone in your face and you’re next to 3 of your buddies who obviously speak Persian as their native language. I get what you mean. And I’m sure him and Amir Maverick speak in Persian regularly at training. With all that in mind though, still expected more improvement in words and accentOriginally posted by taha View Post
