Really? I feel like everyone is going into this with no hope at all. In 2019 we went in having had a wonderful WC performance , a young squad, and a extremely passionate coaching staff which compared to the lead up to this AC is basically the opposite . This is probably Taremi/Azmoun/ARJs last chance to grab a serious trophy for their generation. If we can avoid a mental breakdown we can make a serious run into the tournament. We need to play every match like we are down 3-0.

Japan game will be the final game . So they're not far off by saying they will make it to the final. Unless either iran or japan don't top their group then we will meet them in quater finals.

They said they will make it to the final because they know japan will be in the final too.

I have a feeling uzbekistan will top the group and beat japan in semi finals.

Honestly I'm expecting Japan to get shithoused out of the tournament before they even get to us in finals. Mitoma and Tomiyasu are injured, including some others so they will be either out of form or won't be playing. The whole tournament is a game of who has least injured squad since it's in December.

Having said that, Id say we have about 10-15% chance of winning. We just don't have mental capacity to not have a breakdown.
