Mohebi and Mehdi is a no-no. They have bad chemistry and Mehdi doesn't work with him. play ARJ at left side, he excels there anyways.

MOST important thing general needs to do is sub out Mehdi, Azmoun, and Ghoddos the last 20-30 min in group stage to avoid their risk of injury. Imagine Azmoun getting injured vs Hong Kong???

We can beat them without Azmoun, let's play Ansarifard or whatever it doesn't matter, we will still have a easy win till r16

If we play with one striker, it will allloe us to play more defensively agaisnt South Korea and Qatar. Bring in azmoun in last 30 minutes when he does best. That's a stretch, he will continue to get 30-40 minutes here on a consistent basis in the second half. If anything this showed to Mourinho that his fitness is not ready for him to start at the beginning of the match, and he will come on later on in the second half of the season.

they will all play, all 3 are general favorites.
mohebi is 100% starter in general system.
gholi if not starter definitely will get massive playing time and norafkan next 5 matches get some playing time will make the roster...

Agreed, not sure why Ghaedi wasn't invited. We need a different, nimble player as a Plan B or C in case we need to unlock a defence, get a PN, or nick a goal and Ghaedi is perfect for that!

Ghaedi can be valuable as a anti-narekhar type of player who runs really fast on counters and is frail enough that anything on him is a penalty. Playing him in group stages and having a fresh Sardar ready to come in when r16 hits is a very good idea. Same should be true for Mehdi. The moment we secure 6 pts in group stages we need to pull out all starters and play B-team. ESPECIALLY AGAINST UAE, they play dirty .
