I think he is travelling to Qatar!
He knows he will be big part of TM in near future!
He should be stupid to switch for Qatar, he is only 20!

I don't recall him ever having a poor game in TM, and I agree his age will catch up to him but it doesn't seem to have been an issue yet. At least playing him as a sub to close out the game in the AC wouldn't be a bad option given how limited we are in midfield. He is one of the better number 6's that we have had in recent timesOriginally posted by Pluto2000 View Post
The goal is to get younger players...not go even older...he will be 39 years old in 2026. Should we also bring back Ali Karimi and Ali Daei? Lets throw in Javad Nekounam while we're at it

He's a good utility player, world cup experience, very fit, many older players can still contribute. Need to look at them based on their skill level. For the Asian Cup we already know we aren't going young under GNOriginally posted by Pluto2000 View Post

We left Jalal Hosseini home for the 2019 Asian Cup and how did that turn out? Was Hosseini a bad defender because of his age? Kanaani cost us the tournament

I know we don't have nearly the talent so its not a good comparison but look at teams like England with players like Saka, Bellingham, Foden. They bring in their youngest talents from age 18-19 to the national team to give them exposure and make their moves to big clubs easier. Hazbavi is someone who could benefit from this, so he doesn't rot away at Al-Sadd. When he leaves Al-Sadd he will be 24 years old since he signed a 5 year contract.

Kateb jan I respectfully disagree.. I think he's already one of the best centerbacks in Iran right nowOriginally posted by oracle View Postwith fifa days, Olympic qualifiers, Asian game
approaching in Sept
Let's see where he will be.
Team melli or team melli omid.
Unfortunately fans have a way of overhyping young
players and that harms the player more than it dose benefit for their growth.
Imo he should go tm Omid and help them qualify
For final round of Olympic q , then come and be bench player in tm......
I think he's a must start at Asia Cup following a test run against Bulgaria and Angola in September. We need fresh blood...

It's crazy how if all 3 meet their potential, how much depth team melli would have at CB/Midfield/Winger positions. I hope Allahyar can make a comeback in the next year and the other two keep developingOriginally posted by Iranianarsenal11 View PostHe's honestly our best young player. Not Yadegar, not Allahyar, not anyone else but HIM!
It's a shame he went to Qatar but Al-Sadd is one of the best in Qatar. He plays alongside former Porto CDM Mateus Uribe, Ecuadorian young star Gonzalo Plata, former Olympiakos brazilian mid Guillermo Torres, and Paulo Otavio former Wolfsburg star LB! They also have the Qatari star players like Akram Afif and Hassan Al Haydos on that team
These are some good players... Al-Sadd is also in Asian CL with a relatively easy group and should go through. I hope to see him against some Saudi clubs, impress, and make his way eventually to Europe (or worst case scenario a decent Saudi club)

You should post him on Persianfootball twitter. He's one of our future stars...
But yes, I will promote him. Usually we don't promote our players in Qatar but he's got tons of talent. I really hope he goes to Europe. He's excellent.
