He's been generally fine from what I can see? He consistently gets rated one of the highest players on the pitch when he plays. Just look at his stats from last 16 games in Qatar and 4 games in ACL. His defensive numbers look great and his offensive numbers are also great.

He did that in purpose so it can be understood as a NT switch. I don't blame him to resort to such trick, it is necessary to put the pressure to olagh like GN to get something.

Team Melli participates in more WCs than Qatar, also reaches more Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals than Qatar in Asian Cups. Qatar only achievement won 2019 AC and good stadiums and sport centres

If he switches to Qatar, I won't be upset. Iran has many talented players, one gone is no loss.
