This is only Taremi’s highlights from yesterday. Man is his form good at the moment. Any scout/team that saw this performance would be all over him. If he bangs in a few more goals in the group stage, the winter transfer is coming!

It sounds like some people here have never been to a football match or enjoyed watching one with their friends.

Dont get yourselves worked up about fan reactions the reality is there for you to see. He has his shortcomings but no doubt a top tier striker any team would love to have. The margins today were tight and thats just how things are at the top level. Pepe scoring that 1 on 1 or making that pass to Taremi on the bike just a split second earlier, couldve been a different story. Barca looked toothless.

on another night he has 2 excellent assists for pepe, 1 PK, and a bike.
One very difficult header and volley that he really did as much as you could ask for with.
Linkup play, hold up play, winning fouls, etc as usual top class.
Like I said, people who think this performance wasn't anything special, check out other sports. We are competing in Asian games currently for sports I didn't even know existed, good options there!

finally got around watching the replay and his overall performance was indeed commendable but still looked a bit sluggish and tired seeming (not surprisingly) and not particularly in thick of the attacking action of porto..!
i think the Big problem this season so far seems to be the rather raw, or frankly subpar offensive supporting cast at Porto ..! they simply are not looking near enough to get him involved in matches especially in the final 3rd of the pitch Nor even in the build up play ...!!
ps
man, i so wish, he had held his run a tad bit longer on that sweetass bicycle goal ... coulda been a such a huge moral boost to him/the club and especially for his marketability this winter/summer..!!
i'd like to see a bit more liveliness/spring to his steps in the following games, and definitely more improvements in the box positioning during Set pieces (there's been some 50+ CKs/setpiece deliveries and he is often no-where near the ball landing spots..!) and not his style ... but i like to see him tad bit more selfish and greedy in the offensive half, and perhaps cut back a little on his defensive workrate/hustle, in order to leave more gas/energy/speed/ and more opportunistic positioning on the likely counter attacks..!

His finishing was poor tbh!

But besides that, the almost-assist to Pepe and the almost-offside bicycle kick combined with his general hustle and presence all over the pitch can’t be denied. Porto is a weak team this season with a mediocre midfield and terrible CBs. Just the fact that they kept the game this close and that Mehdi played a big role in it makes this a solid performance for him and the team.

id even go so far as saying he got lucky when the red card forced his substitution early in the benfica gameor else he looked destined for another game-costing sootie in that fixture too..!!?
i dont know wtf Tmart gotta do to get bit more game minutes afforded..?? probably mostly because of Mehdi, and his rather weak off the ball workrate..? but needing a goal late, figured he'd be brought on late, since his aerial prowess is far superior to almost anyone else in Porto currently..!!
jao mario ham gayeed maro baa oon repeated, aimless, saantraye kirish..! and baazie Pepe Jr. ham ye kam boo gholi mideh..! too much khodravi o sarpayeeeni... va galeno ham ke hamoon gooz..!!
SC is yet to put together the right mix of complementary starters this season .... lack of quality options and depth in MF and D has his hand tied so far..!! :/

Romario was one of the best forwards of the nineties and yes he did have issues with his work ethic but his successes for both clubs and country speaks for itself. when it came to it, he performed
