They won their 1st CL qualifier against Breidablik from Iceland 7:1. Gholizadeh was subbed in after 72 minutes it was his first match after the injury. Return leg is next week in Iceland.
The next round will be difficult though, as they could face teams like Red Star Belgrade, Slovan Bratislava, Rangers, Malmö etc.
BTW seems like they are considering adding Jahanbaksh as a free agent, who by all means wants to stay in Europe.
Imagine Lech making it to the CL with Alireza on the left and Gholi on the right wing.

Polish League has already started. Lech Poznan has lost 1 game and won 1 game so far. They are in the 3rd week of the competation this weekend.
Tomorrow Lech Poznan plays away match on the 2nd leg of the CL qualification. From the Instagram pictures Ali is with the team too. not sure if game ready. he did not play in the season opener and came off the bench in the 2nd league game.IRI = FAILEDComment

Worst player on the pitch in the first 15 minutes.
Then started to do well on the offensive end of things. Nice dribbles, but the final product was lacking in the box.
Defensively, you might as well play with 10 men.
Makes Ghaedi look like prime Sergio Ramos. His positioning and defensive decision make is poor.
Overall decent, but definitely room for improvement.
