Gholizadeh says he is injured and as a result, won’t be at TM camp.

That moment when the most exciting transfer news you have for team Melli is your best right back potentially moving to the all mighty polish league to join another one of our greatest wingers 🥴🥴🥴🥴

Of course. Just as he is on form, and have a chance to shine in TM, he gets injured again again

i consider both gholizadeh and moharrami to have failed in europe. After 6-7 years of zoor zadan they couldn’t move up from belgian or croatian league.

Moharrami has just signed with Sepahan. So it seems like his Europe adventure is over

                    Our players have weak mentality.

I think that's unfair in their case.
Moharrami in particular. It's not like he's making big bucks in Croatia. He just had 2 very bad ACL and MCL injuries right as he was dominating. This is the same guy who was the best RB in Iran at age 22 in Persepolis, could have had big bucks in alkooft, but instead went to Croatia. Had some growing pains in Croatia but was ultimately the guy who had standout performances versus teams like AC Milan and Chelsea.

Our biggest problem is Iranian bodies are made out of glass, pretty much none of our players can ever succeed in Europe for more than a season without some sort massive hamstring tear or ACL injury.

I genuinely can't name me one Iranian player outside of Taremi who went to Europe and didn't suffer some insane injury within 2 seasons that derailed their entire career (and even he got Pubalgia the moment he left Portugal). Even Beiranvand suffered a bad foot injury the moment he stepped foot in Europe and he's a goalkeeper!!

Its why I always personally hope our players aim for top teams in slightly less physical leagues. Haj Safi still got to play pretty good Conference League/Europa League and succeed at AEK. I wanna see more stuff like that than shooting for the sun and falling off after 3 games to rehab a crazy knee tear.

Its less exciting for us fans that want a PL player but its more productive as a whole for our football. At least until our domestic infrastructure evolves to condition our youth more for physical football

Gholizadeh is such a great fit for Spanish football. I see him shining in La Liga. It would be nice to see him play in Spain.

Its probably related to his knee, since he got a bone bruise + meniscus tear and then it tore again last 2 years.

I have a feeling somehow that we will see him play in Portugal next season.
