6 pts would ve great. And doable if we play more like vs uruguay or possibly use 2 attackers aswell, compared to this strange lineup today. I would like to se Karim Ghoddos Azmoun and Taremi play at the same time, with Ezza Amiri Torabi. Kaanani Shoja and Rezaian/Moh. Jb of the bench as supersub

Even a bench player in the PL brings a ton of experience. Not to mention that he knows most of these British players!

I agree. Of course we are all speculating, buy Ghodus is a skilled and physical player who would have been a great choice for the England game. I hope the coaching staff change the starting line up against Wales. If not, it'll probably be another long day. Iran had success against Morocco and Portugal because of two elements: a calm mental state, great defense, and effective counter attacks. Today, all three elements were missing. They need to refocus and capture some of the intensity exhibited by England and the U.S. I know it's easier said than done but, in life, when you have nothing to lose, reaching an objective can become easier.

Agree on Ghodoos. If not Ghodoos, at least Amiri or even Torabi. Guys who can hold onto the ball and run physically and with intent.

Regarding Abedzadeh, let's be honest - he has not been consistent. Hosseini was also pretty decent in that friendly versus Senegal. He was much worse than he usually is.

The really bad selections were Cheshmi and Karimi.
