If Skocic had picked 25 players for a 26 player roster and 4 of them were goal keeper and 3 forwards (one injured, one is too old and the third is not a real CF) and then a few days later, we lost 2-0 to Tunisia, he would have gotten the exact same positive reaction on this forum. No double standards here!!!

Not Bad news. Germany just won 1 0 against Oman and Oman was pretty good. Germans say that Die Mannschaft is a "Turnier Mannschaft" means they perform at the World cup. Iran is pretty similar.

I don't have the same level of confidence in Skocic to take away (and quickly implement) valuable learning lessons from a friendly. Plus, that wasn't a "pre-tournament" friendly.
