The people here who are discussing football on a football forum are not the reason why Iran is run by assholes. Most if not all of us here want the regime gone, but arguing here won't lead to a revolution.

Personally, I don't feel excited at all for the WC and don't care much due to what's happening, but I never want TM to lose.

The only thing that will change my mind is if the players actively take actions to willingly show support for the regime. We all know that the players are pressured/forced into singing the national anthem for instance. It couldn't have been more obvious in the last WC when none of them sang prior to the England game, and then all of a sudden they were all singing before playing Wales as if they magically became regime lovers in a few days.

To the keyboard warriors here who are attacking other members, why don't you take a flight to Turkey, cross the border into Iran and help getting the revolution started? I'm sure the people who actually live in Iran need any help they can get.

How can we separate it if the regime doesn't? I had the same opinion as you many years ago but now if you see players like Azmoun not getting invited it just shows how useless it is to support this team. I lost all my interest. We only expect them to refuse the invitation. Nobody has to talk, just don't play anymore. What are they afraid of? They still get paid by their clubs.

You’re on a Persian football forum. This isn’t where a revolution is going to happen. This is where Iranians gather to watch and discuss their national team.

However you feel, about whether you should or should not support the team, that’s your choice and you can’t enforce it on someone else. If you don’t want to support the team, that’s fine, don’t come on the forum and don’t discourage someone else that wants to.
