Honestly Asian qualification needs to become like European qualification. Just have it be 8 groups of 4 and the first in every group get out and qualify. Runner ups go to a mini tournament to decide the rest of the spots. This would save us a whole 3 years of qualification and we could actually do other things in AFC like Nations League or maybe even something like the joint AFC-CAF cup of nations that we used to play back in the day

Because ksa will host 2034 they most probably take 1 away and make it 7.5.

Back in 98 wc asia had 3.5 spots, for 02 wc they taked 1 spot away and gave asia 2.5 +hosts Japan and Korea.
I am thinking they do the same or minimum take the .5 away and make it 8.
So maxiMum 1 spot reduction
