^ I haven't yet bought into corruption/ulterior-motive insinuation theories thrown @ CQ yet..!
Until he struggle to attain reasonably well results & until he comes close to put our WCQualifying campaign in danger, I will assume that he knows more than me & rest of us here, & trust his overall judgment in player selection..!
I think it's too early & not very constructive for us fans to scream corruption, idiocity, blindness or whatever..!
Reza Noruzi's exclusion certainly is controversial, but it certainly ain't far fetched to think it may very well be Football related..!
Some players, no matter how talented or how well they perform elsewhere, fail to fit in another coach's tactics or fail to adhear to coach's instruction & demanded, set, preplanned movements on the pitch..! Hence get shone away when they are deemed in-adaptable..! Above is my best guess as to what's happening with Reza..! Other wild guesses would be a possible attitude or off the pitch manerism which may have turned CQ against him..!???
The Center Striker in CQ's prefered 433, more than just a pure finisher, must be one who is a technically sound, able to operate in small spaces, can hold the ball up & combine well with Wingers who are supposed to also greatly burden in the scoring responsibilities..! A more instinctive CF, like Reza..!??, whom as soon as he gets the ball looks to get a shot off, won't suit the sort of a Attacking (barfelona style 433...!) which CQ seems to be going for, based on my observations..!???
For some reasons he rates & seems to be favoring hadi Noruzi as an attacking winger..!? Thats why he keeps inviting him, even though as weak as he may be or the fact that he just recovering from an injury also..! My best guess for that is that although he sucks generally, he must be taking directions well..!?
Anyways, I think it's fair to say amongst 45 on call players, we certainly have 23, or 11-18 of our overall best available players @ our disposal & should cut CQ some slacks on a handful of possible controversial pickings..!

I guess we all have seen the latest list of candidates for TM.
Good calls:
1) Jamaati
2) Fakhrodini
3) O Ebrahimi
4) dejagah (if alijenab graces our little country!! or his mommy allows him!
)
5) Gholami (nice to see this guy gets a second chance)
6) Nozhati
Not sure on:
1) Mansouri
2) taleblou
3) nosrati (except in his case, experience instead of form is the reason)
4) maziyar zareh (the guy is clearly out of form)
5) Gh Rezai (same as maziyar. But I guess CQ wants to cover all his bases with the FANS )
Ridiculous call ups:
1) shojaei (this guy hasnt even touched the ball in nearly a whole season! ridiculous call
2) Hadi nowroozi (when reza nowroozi is missing, calling this guy reeks of Iranian style selection
) nothing and I really mean NOTHING justifies this. NOTHING.
Missing:
1) Reza Nowroozi of foulad (he must have raped CQ's someone to be repeatedly ignored. anything less than a vicious rape can not explain CQ's dogmatic ommission of him)
2) Ebrahimi (of traktor)
3) Talebi of zob
4) Hosseini of Zob (he has consistently been the best goal scoring defender in the league and he is overlooked???)
5) Hamed Lak of Saba (why was he dropped without a single test? he was just called in CQ's last week's list. what's going on in CQ's head? is he suffering from some mental disease?)
Mind you, note those worthy players who've been overlooked (and their clubs) and those who are there without much justification (form or performance wise) and note THEIR clubs.
notice how even low performing and average players from popular clubs get a free ride and easy access to TM, while other top performers from lesser popular or famous clubs get snubbed?
someone wants to explain why?
can anyone deny, beyond the shadow of a doubt that factors outside the pitch are not involved in such selections??
anyone?
the only way I can somehow explain CQ's bordering-on-criminal neglect of reza nowroozi is that he actually calls him (picks Nowroozi), but CQ's idiot iranian assistant picks HADI (instead of REZA) and CQ, in the midst of 4 dozen players forgets this!
that's the most generous explanation I can come up with CQ's idiotic stance on Reza Nowroozi and Hadi Nowroozi
but on a serious note, such neglect and dogmatic exclusion of a player ... ANY player, will affect the player and his performances. most players lose confidence and motivation and they usually lose their peak eventually!
if for nothing else but to keep the competition alive in TM, CQ shd have exercised a little bit of logic and sense.
coz afterall, Reza Nowroozi is not just another run of the mill striker. he has broken the IPL record and is the last season's top scorer.
now, juxtaposing this with TM's goal drought among its strikers (our goals have come from defenders and mids only), one must be insanely idiotic to omit the league's top scorer for the likes of hadi nowroozi or gh. rezaei
***********
I'm really starting to wonder about CQ's eye sight (and I'm being extremely generous and polite here). First of all his selection and choices point to an assumption that he may have vision problems for missing on a whole set of players and missing the f**k ups of those he's picked (that is IF he actually has bothered to watch the games. big debate on this)
secondly, he seems to have been either blind or sleeping in qatar to recognize we dropped 2 precious points in qatar ONLY becoz of our choices of strkers and how they let us down by missing 4-5 great chances. and still, he picks the same set of players (some justified like ansarifard, some not so) and still misses on other alternatives.
and to make things even more dramatic, he goes and picks HADI nowroozi AGAIN!!!
hahaha.
would love to see ppl explain some of the 45 names' selections.

It is NOT and act of ignorance , Reza Jan , it is an act of betrayal.Originally posted by Hajagha View PostWhatever it is, it's surely unclear and nontransparent. So, you may be completely right.
I go with speculations since I refuse to believe that it is an act of ignorance. One scenario can be building up a B team (or maybe a C team) and/or semi Omid team. Bringing them in a camp and checking them in close action. However, this should be seen in series of invitations that will be shown.
I still scratch my head.
Cheers,
I would be more than happy for CQ to build a B , C or a D team , but if he think there are 9 brilliant prospects in Perspolis , how many players should Esteghal , Tractor , Saba and the rest should have in this whatever alphabetical team ?
It is disturbing. It is one of those "Monhaser be fard" weird specialty of Iranian football.
Only a few days ago , an by pure chance I was switching TV channels when i stumbled upon Shabakeh 1 and there was a documentary called "Alef" about the corruption in Iran's football. I caught about half of that documentary . There was a lot of beeps to cover names of people but ironically one of the names that slipped out was a name of a famous coach. A close Iranian friend of mine in the coaching circle , has mentioned this football coach as a part of Iran football mafia ! This conversation of ours was least 5 years old.

It does not matter if Queiroz takes us to the World Cup or Not , such insult to people’s feeling and mockery of the fans and players who are much more deserving , will not be easily forgotten. This is the dark side of football we are witnessing , and extremely unfair.

anyone wants to explain that?
Besides, I think it is easy to talk in hypotheticals or what "used to be". But unfortunately it is the PRESENT TIME that makes the player.
so why stop with rezaei? why not zeneiedpoor? he "used to be good" too at some time in the past.
what about khalili? he also "used to be a great player" at one time or another.
Roudbarian? he was TM's #1 at some period.
why not madanchi? he was a fixed player at TM. why not him and many MANY more like these? as long as we're living in the PAST and we base things on "WHO USED TO BE WHAT", we can add another 2 dozen names. why stop at rezaei and zareh who are VIVIDLY out of form?
another issue that underlines the belief that perhaps CQ is more bothered about gaining popularity and acceptance as well as retaining his job is how he accepted akbar mohamadi, a literal "nobody" in coaching (who as proof of his incompetence caused elimination of our U-16 team from world cup by series of extremely shameful and disgraceful results) as the coach to take our U-19 team!!!!!!
who in their right mind would accept this? especially when the chap's failure is so fresh in our minds. Who?
I'm afraid we are seeing new sides of CQ that was hidden from us in the flash of his "tenures in madrid and fergie's assistantship

Well, with Neku & haddadifar out injured & still in recovery mode & P Nouri out in Arab league's obscurities, it's no surprise that he reinvites Zareh..! Afterall he has always preferred him to p Nouri in that position anyhow..!
I'm also dumbfounded as to why F. Talebi hasn't been given a trial by him yet..! No doubt we badly lack depths in CB position & there are hardly better alternatives ..!?(perhaps because of ZZ involvement in ACL..!?)
I dont know why R. Noruzi hasn't been reinvited since his drop from the Austria camp..! I haven't seen the kid enough in action to have a fair judgment on his quality & I'm not the type who values a player all too much based purely on his IPL stats..!
It is still disturbing the sheer number of invitees from the struggling PP..!? Perhaps that only shows CQ's faith in Estili's coaching abilities..!?(as haaj agha claimed..!) or like DD mentioned there sure seems to be an element of pleasing the fans of popular teams( I'm certain he took notice of 4+ Million SMS votes in irib's poll on a for most part retarded question..! That is freaking insane high number..!
) & perhaps some good ol Irani gaavebandi, advice within IFF..!
I was also disappointed with Ghaami's absence in the list..!

in CQ's latest list we see some new names and some of the old inconsistencies and incredibly STUPID picks.
1- GOOD PICKS: Hamed Lak and Milad Fakhrodini are great additions.
So is Meydavoudi's addition.
2- RETARDED PICKS ( that reek of the biased IRANIAN color-oriented prejudices ): Gh rezaei, M zareh and Omranzadeh again we see useless retards from ss and pp given undue preferential treatment at TM whole more deserving players from smaller teams are ignored again!
Anyone still doubts there are IRANIAN hands behind such selections?

CQ ( or his assistants)not even once attended U16 training and talk to Mehr Alidoosti.
CQ has not attended any U19 training sessions.
According to IFF they were waiting his decision to select U19 coach.
He recently said he does not have time beyond TM duties..
First he blamed IFF ( excluded Kafashian ) , then clarified and blamed others..
U19 Coach Mohammadi in the past said he was reporting to CQ and that was never denied.
IFF has failed U16 & U19.
They should forget CQ and hired a qualified and experienced Coach dedicated to youth programs . CQ has no time for this..

First, Nothing is definite.
Second, one time payment doesn't count much.
Third, who knows how much Qotbi has received actually as he had so many dealers to feed in between. We all know he never had the credit for such a high rank job.
Forth, his salary "statement" was too strange that received that many attention.
Fifth, Ahmadi-Nejad car was sold 1,000,000 dollars, later it was revealed that it was all fake. Same scenario for Qotbi?
Sixth, we talk about real people and real coaches. Not a fake coach no one knows how he got here and how got out.
Seventh, no one trying to catch any one else here. Otherwise, ...
Cheers,
