Persianfootball.com – WOLFSBURG, Iran international playmaker Ashkan Dejagah returns to German Bundesliga and Vfl Wolfsburg.

Dejagah signed a contract until the end of the season. Wolfsburg, who currently stand in 14th position of the table, have the option to extend the contract then.

The 30-year-old had joined Al Arabi of Qatar from Fulham in 2014, but already left the club in summer, remaining clubless since then.

Dejagah already played for Wolfsburg from 2007 to 2012, winning the German Bundesliga title with them in 2009.

“With his skill and experience he will bring the team forward”, coach Valerien Ismael told Spiegel.de.

“But it’s also clear that he will need time to readapt first.

“However; I’m convinced that won’t take long, because Ashkan is the type of player with much determination and good mentality.”
