Tehran Times – ISFAHAN, Zob Ahan midfielder Ghasem Haddadifar could miss whole of Iran Professional League (IPL) season with a knee injury.

At the Zob Ahan’s training held on Monday, Haddadifar tore the anterior cruciate ligament.

The Zob Ahan midfielder will be sidelined for at least seven months after undergoing surgery.

Haddadifar will undergo an MRI exam on the knee within 10 days to determine the extent of the injury.

The 33-year-old midfielder was a member of Iran national football team in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
