“Sepahan made mistakes against Lokomotiv in ACL”: Igor Stimac

Tasnim – ISFAHAN, Sepahan of Iran coach says that they made mistake against Lokomotiv of Uzbekistan and got punished.

The Iranian football team lost to Lokomotiv 1-0 in Group A of the AFC Champions League on Wednesday.

With nine minutes into the second half, Temurkhuja Abdukholikov found the back of the net.

“We controlled the game in the first half but we made mistakes with our final ball and we got punished,” said Stimac.

“There could have been more goals in this game but Lokomotiv were able to take its chance when it came to them.”

“We tried to find an equalizer after going behind but we could not use our chances,” the Croat added.
