IPL: Tractor Sazi edges Saipa, Sepahan draws with Malavan

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Tractor Sazi of Tabriz football team edged past Saipa in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
The Tabriz-based team defeated Saipa 1-0 thanks to Shahin Saghebi’s 18th minute goal in Tehran’s Dastgerdi Stadium.
In Isfahan, title-holder Sepahan was held to a 2-2 draw by Malavan.
Rasoul Navidkia gave Sepahan a lead in the 19th minute but Mohammad Hossein Kananizadegan equalized the match in the 65th minute.
Sepahan Brazilian striker Luciano Pereira found the back of the net from the spot in the injury time but Malavan veteran Maziar Zare leveled the match in the dying moments of the match.
Earlier in the day, Gostaresh Foolad came from behind to beat Zob Ahan 4-3 in Tabriz.
