The 28-year-old was a member of the Belgian football team from 2011 to 2013.
Ghoochannejhad played 31 matches for Sint-Truiden and scored 18 goals.
The Charlton Athletic striker is not in starting lineup and just scored three goals in 26 matches for the Championship team.
Ghoochannejhad has also played at Standard Liege of Belgium.
