We Want Three Points against Persepolis: Esteghlal Coach Mazloumi

Tasnim – TEHRAN, Esteghlal coach Parviz Mazloumi said they will be aiming for three points in the match against Persepolis in Tehran derby.

Iran Professional League leader Esteghlal is scheduled to play Persepolis on Friday at the Azadi Stadium.

“We want to defeat Persepolis to remain top of the table. We have respect for Persepolis but want three points,” Mazloumi said in the pre-match news conference.

“I was never afraid of Tehran derby and I’ve always tried to transmit this passion to my players. We will try and prepare for it like any other match,” he added.

“After the 3-0 victory over Sepahan, our fans’ expectations are high at the moment. Esteghlal is well-prepared for the match and we want victory,” Mazloumi stated.
