Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Persepolis and Iran national team goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand, who suffered an injury in the match against Esteghlal Khuzestan, will be sidelined for at least four weeks, club’s doctor said on Tuesday.

Beiranvand will miss Persepolis meeting with Sanat Naft in the 10th week of Iran Professional League as well as the important Team Melli match against Syria on November 15th in Malaysia.

Persepolis second choice keeper Bozidar Radosevic will be in the goal for Sanat Naft clash while Alireza Haghighi will most likely wear the No. 1 jersey for Team Melli against Syria.

Beiranvand has kept six clean sheets for Persepolis in this season so far while he has yet to concede a goal in the 2018 World Cup qualifying matches.
