Persianfootball.com – BREMEN/TEHRAN, German-Iranian Alexander Nouri (37) will act as caretaker manager of Bundesliga side Werder Bremen while the struggling club searches for manager Victor Skripnik’s replacement.

Werder head coach Skripnik (46) was sacked last weekend after a 1-4 defeat against Mönchengladbach, leaving the club with zero points after three Bundesliga matches so far.

Nouri, who is currently under contract to Werder Bremen as the under-23 head coach, was presented to the media on last Monday. The 37-year- old former Bremen player mentioned that his main target in the two upcoming Bundesliga matches is to clear the minds of his Players.

“We will not look into the past to remind ourselves of unsuccessful scenes of the recent weeks”.

Nouri added that “everyone is invited to fight and blaze for this club. It is important that we recover our stand”.

His first appearance as Bremen manager will be on Wednesday evening against FSV Mainz 05 at home.
