Tehran Times – MINSK, Iran and Belarus football federations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday.

The memorandum is part of efforts to boost cooperation between the two federations to promote the sport at grassroots level and beach soccer.

Chairman of the Technical Committee of Iran’s Football Federation, Fereydun Moeini, has signed the MoU with his Belarusian counterpart.

Iran is currently participating at the Belarus U-17 football tournament in Minsk.

The team lost 3-1 to host Belarus on Tuesday.
