Hazfi Cup: Zob Ahan to line up against Perspolis

Loading...Mehr News – TABRIZ, Winning their match against Gostaresh Foulad of Tabriz, Zowbahan is to host Perspolis in the next round.
At 4:00 pm local time on Monday, Saeed Bakhshizadeh blew the opening whistle of Hazfi Cup 8th-final fixture between Gostaresh Foulad and Zowbahan of Isfahan in Iranian Northwestern city of Tabriz.
In a day that the hosts were offensive and visiting Zowbahan was defensive, Isfahanis grabbed their sole opportunity at the 66th minute and scored the only goal of the event.
Edge passing Tabrizi team in an away game, Zowbahan is to host the red giants of Tehran in quarterfinals.
Sepahan and Rah Ahan are the other pair in quarterfinals while Tractorsazi and Saipa line up against each other.
There are still two fixtures left to conclude the 8th-final round of 29th season of Iran’s Hazfi Cup in which Esteghlal of Tehran will play with Foulad of Khuzestan and Naft of Tehran will line up against Diana of Baghershahr.
The winners of these two events face each other at quarterfinals.
