Persianfootball.com – DOHA, Iranian international playmaker Masoud Shojaei will play for Qatari team Al Gharafa next season.

The 31-year-old agreed on a one-year-contract which according to ‘Ahdaaf.me’ is worth 800,000 USD.

Shojaei played in Spain’s highest division for five years before joining Las Palmas in Segunda Division in 2013. He then returned to the Persian Gulf last season, playing in Qatar already, but relegated with Al Shahaniya.

Shojaei was rumoured to rejoin newly promoted La Liga side Las Palmas recently, but joined the seventh placed of last season in Qatar instead, replacing Australian veteran midfielder Marc Bresciano there.

Shojaei will be the sixth Iranian in Qatar’s Stars League beside Ashkan Dejagah, Pejman Montazeri, Andranik Teymourian, Mojtaba Jabbari and Mohammad Nouri.
