Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, The neverending story of the supposed signing of Carlos Queiroz as Iran’s national team coach continues, as still no contract between the Portuguese and Iran’s Football Federation (IFF) was signed on Wednesday.

Latest reports say that the finalization of what had appeared to be an almost certain deal a few days ago will take up to futher three days.

However, with numerous self-announced deadlines already having been surpassed, it’s uncertain if this timeframe is realistic.

With an increasingly frustrated Carlos Queiroz on one side and an IFF boss Ali Kafashian, seemingly pressured by some Islamic Republic politicians to opt for a domestic coach, on the other, a continued cooperation of the two sides now seems seriously endangered.

According to earlier reports, only minor disagreements exist between the two parties after all major issues have been sorted out already.
