MNA – TEHRAN, Iran Under-23 football team failed to beat Poland in a friendly held here on Saturday.
The Persians were held to a 1-1 draw by the Poles at the Takhti Stadium. The Iranian side had defeated Poland 2-0 last month in Warsaw.
Iran U-23 team is gearing up for the 2010 Asian Games which will be held in Guangzhou, China from November 7 to December 25, 2010.
Iran has been drawn in Group B along with Vietnam, Bahrain and Turkmenistan.
