- Shahdari Gorgan lost the final west asia super league final to Lebanese Al Riyadi. It was the first leg and was at home

They bought the trophy to Iran this week. Haddadi was the "host".

I really want Iran Basketball Federation to permanently leave West Asia Basketball Federation and setup Central Asia Basketball Federation that would include Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan who are strong and reasonable teams, but also likes of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mongolia can improve their level. Having a Central Asia Basketball Federation, they can also invite teams from outside of Asia for example Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, etc to level up the quality of their competitions.

It should be necessary for Iranians to stay away from Arab countries (specially those who insult the name Persian Gulf, Persian culture and history), and stop using the derogatory euro-centric term "Middle East".

I would be surprised if Amini isn’t part of the squad. Even at 18 years old he’s one of the most talented players we have.

And considering we aren’t actually set up to win anything in this tournament, it’s best to use this as an opportunity to showcase and develop the youth more

Seems we’ve got a 2nd Iranian prospect to watch out for. Mahdi Heydari was invited to attend the NBA Without Borders camp (Mohammad Amini participated in the camp a couple months ago)

I believe this is for the Asia Camp in Abu Dhabi. Amini participated in the Global Camp (bigger deal)

Mahdi is younger though so maybe he’ll make the Global camp once he’s a bit older

No he currently plays at Mahram I think. I believe he is only 16 years old though so he has time to become legionnaire. Amini became one when he was 17

Iran kicked out France in R16 of wheelchair basketball world cup.

I am still waiting lequipe to report it, as they did it for France first games. So far no news.

Iran beat Germany in wheelchair basketball and will face Great Britain in SF. Other bracket has Netherlands and USA
