This will be a vital season for Amini to take the next step and prove himself to NBA scouts. He’s expected to have a more featured role as a consistent starter this season so he will have the opportunities to prove it in a league that’s been producing many NBA draft picks in recent years

Iran gets CREAMED by Australia today 92-48. pathetic performance. Although I know our level is different, but we should not lose by such big margin.

Interesting fact: Iran came back from 21 points to win the game against Taiwan, and New Zealand came back from 22 points to beat Lebanon

okay I spoke too soon, Iran made the right adjustments at half and came back from behind to win in the last min of the game.

Amini and arsalan stepped up with with help on offense and defense.

FIBA Asia Cup is going on right now in Saudi Arabia. Iran is grouped with Japan, Guam and Syria. Iran won all 3 games with ease and are into round 8. they will face either jordan or Tawian.

I watched a bit of each game and I like what I saw from the team and the Amini. I really like this team better than when Hamid Haddadi was part of it. it seemed like we were playing with one man down all the time as he was just useless.

we are smaller then the previous year but we are fast on transition. let see how we do when we face a tough opponent like china or australia
