She won the point in almost every long rally
Also, she started the game a bit nervous. Lost the first 2 games in the 1st set but went on to win the next 6 out of 8 games. Great resilience
Is there a video of highlights of this game?

IMO she should cut her long first name and be called meshkat Safi (like her US academy call her) on the Tournament. Stanislas Wawrinka did the same some years ago and he is called Stan Wawrinka now

Huge boost to her confidence to beat a home-crowd opponent on this level of stage. Wonderful job!

Wonderful, she won 6/4 6/3! Next round she will play coustolas from Belgium, ranked 8th of the Tournament.

Is there a link to watch her game?

She won the 2nd set and wins the match in straight sets! Moves on to the 2nd round

I watched her whole match and wow she’s quite impressive. Her opponent wasn’t quite as highly ranked so she was expected to win this one and took care of business. Looking forward to seeing her as she faces tougher opponents. She appears to have a very bright future!

There will be 2 other juniors matches that are played before Safi and that will begin at 4 PM PST. Junior matches are best of 3 so I estimate her match will start sometime around 7 PM PST
So I guess it will be during the hotter time of the day in the middle of the Australian summer
