Nejati lost his first match against a nobody wrestler from Armenia 5-5 on criteria. This was honestly pathetic. Nejati had a relatively easy path to the semis and he is already out.

Our 130KG wrestler beat his opponent easily but he really doesn't have much of a chance to medal because his next opponent is the 3x Olympic champion Lopez and if he somehow beats Lopez he has the Turkish wrestler who is nearly as unbeatable as Lopez.

I am so angry the disastrously bad Olympic games for Iran seems like it will continue in wrestling too.

Man I’m starting to understand why the IOC wanted to remove this sport from the Olympics🤔🤔. Get some real rules please. As for Nejati when he went down 3-2 I think he let himself a bit loose trying to go to edge of mat and the Armenian guy got an easy flip.

honestly he has himself to blame. He was the superior wrestler but the 2pointer he gave away on edge of mat when the armenian had no ability to make a takedown himself was really bad. He paid for that in the end.
