We lost 3-1. Italy was excellent. Practically made zero mistakes on receptions and only a few service errors.

Iran had a few chances to turn it around but didn’t take advantage. Ebadipour was excellent.

Our receptions really have to improve.

Before the negative crowd starts moaning, be aware it is still very much in our hands. We just have to beat Japan. If we can beat Poland we can beat Japan. Just bring our best game.

Not too worried about Japan, we’ll beat them if we play like today.

We need Poland to beat Canada, otherwise we’ll face Russia.
Russia is the only team that scares me, the rest we can beat on our best day.

its no big deal to play vs russia. because this iran team has beaten the very same russia team. Also alekno is a + for iran now. but anyway to beat japan they need to play 100%

They played quiet well today, the first set could have gone either way and after that anything was possible. Losing to Canada hurt, no complain about today match. Coach played lots of young kids today after the 2nd set. Marouf was benched and kids did pretty well.

Sounds like the team has hit the imaginary wall. Barring any miracle, we are cooked. Very dissappointing, especially from the captain of the team.
